Today our school community celebrated the Beginning of the School Year Mass in St. Michael’s Parish Church, Kildysart. The theme for the mass was ‘We Rise by Lifting Others.’ Fr Albert was the Celebrant. It was a lovely ceremony enhanced by beautiful music, singing , carrying of symbols and prayer. 5th and 6th year students gained important insights into the Apprenticeship career pathway when both groups attended presentations given by Catherine Bracken Senior Training Advisor, LCETB Further Education and Raheen Training Centre, Raheen campus. Routes into apprenticeships, the sixty-six apprenticeships now available to them and the qualities that employers look for were all discussed followed by a Q&A session.
