The French Exchange group took a trip to Bruges today. It was an amazing day filled with fun and laughter. The weather was wonderful, with bright sunshine that made the beautiful cobbled streets and sparkling canals look even more stunning.
We treated ourselves to delicious Belgian waffles and crispy fries, which were a huge hit with everyone. One of the best parts of the day was the boat trip along the canals, where we relaxed, enjoyed the views, and took lots of photos. Students from St John Bosco Community College, currently in Lille on a French exchange, enjoyed a memorable day trip with their French partners exploring northern France.
They visited the beach at Calais, saw the impressive Calais Dragon, and also visited the beautiful Calais Town Hall. They then explored the WWII bunker La Coupole and learned about its wartime history. The group also discovered Calais’ lace-making heritage at the Cité de la Dentelle et de la Mode.
