Senior A Shield Champions for the first time 🥇 Our Senior Ladies footballers have topped off a memorable school year with a win over Colaiste Mhuire after extra time!
Kate Griffin accepted the shield on behalf of the team.
This was a game that had it all. The sides couldn’t be separated in full time which meant extra time had to decide the victors.
Both teams displayed some amazing football in tough conditions. However, it was St John Bosco that came out on the right side, scoring 1-05 to 0–1 in extra time.
The girls are an absolute privilege to coach and work with. They showed tremendous leadership throughout and never gave up. Their close knit bond was particularly evident in this game as it required the girls to dig deep for 80 minutes. The fought for everything , tracked incredibly and showed their maturity and fitness levels by taking it up another gear in extra time.
Well done girls and to all involved . What a year for these ladies. We are so proud.
We want to thank and say farewell to our Sixth year girls. You have done so much for your school. You will be missed.
Well done also to management team, Ms Keane & Ms O'Sullivan and thank you for the time and dedication given to the team. ... See MoreSee Less

Our junior ladies footballers have had an incredible week, closing the week with a win in the Junior D county final today on a score line of 4-07 to 0-6 points against Colaiste Mhuire.
The girls worked tirelessly from the outset. Their link up play was excellent as well as their communication and determination throughout.
Captain Emma Malone Smyth accepted the cup on behalf of the team.
This is an amazing achievement for this team and is the school’s first time to enter and win both the junior A and D finals in the same week.
