Last week 5th and 6th year Students interested in finding out about the UCAS application system for entry to 3rd level colleges in Northern Ireland and the UK attended an informative talk presented by Annie Murphy McGuane who has experience working as a careers advisor in the UK. Students from the TY Modern Foreign Language class made Lanterns to celebrate Martin's Day on Nov 11th. They created these lanterns from recycled materials to honour the German tradition. Children in the German speaking countries walk in processions holding lanterns in memory of St. Martin.
